چکیده

Cooperative diversity is an innovative approach to improve the reliability of communication. Although this technique is considered in the next-generation mobile communication standards, it has its own challenges in practice. For example, in simultaneous transmission-based cooperative protocols, perfect synchronisation of nodes is very hard to realise. The traditional time division multiple access method can simplify the synchronisation problems but leads to long transmission delays. In this paper, a low-delay cooperative strategy is proposed for a network with multiple sources and a single destination, which requires only a simple type of synchronisation. In this technique, we use a combination of superposition coding and network coding; hence the name superposition network coded cooperation. For this strategy, good bounds are obtained for the probability of correct detection for general M-PSK and M-QAM modulation and are compared with simulation results. The results demonstrate improvement in error performance compared with other transmission schemes requiring the same transmission time as superposition network coded cooperation. Modeling Cooperation between Nodes in Wireless Networks by APD Game

Cooperation is the foundation of many protocols in wireless networks. Without cooperation, the performance of a network significantly decreases. Hence, all nodes in traditional networks are required to cooperate with each other. In this paper, instead of traditional networks, a network of rational and autonomous nodes is considered, which means that each node itself can decide whe...

Complex field network-coded cooperation based on multi-user detection in wireless networks

Cooperative communication can achieve spatial diversity gains, and consequently combats signal fading due to multipath propagation in wireless networks powerfully. A novel complex field network-coded cooperation (CFNCC) scheme based on multi-user detection for the multiple unicast transmission is proposed. Theoretic analysis and simulation results demonstrate that, compared with the conventiona...

Feedback-based adaptive network coded cooperation for wireless networks

A novel feedback-based adaptive network coded cooperation (FANCC) scheme is proposed for wireless networks that comprise a number of terminals transmitting data to a common destination. The proposed FANCC exploits network coding and matches code-on-graph with network-on-graph, which is a substantial extension of adaptive network coded cooperation (ANCC). In the relay phase of FANCC, the termina...

Performance of Coded Cooperative Diversity with Interference in Nakagami Fading Environments

Diversity is an effective technique in enhancing the link quality and increasing network capacity. When multiple antennas can not be used in mobile units, user cooperation can be employed to provide transmit diversity. In this paper, we analyze the error performance of coded cooperative diversity with multiple cooperating users over Nakagami fading channels under interference conditions. We der...
